Getting Started with MunroMapping

MunroMapping ·

You’ve been recording hikes on Strava. You want to see which summits you’ve actually tagged. Here’s how.

Setup (5 minutes)

  1. Sign up with email
  2. Connect your Strava account (one click)
  3. Go to Maps and pick Munros or Wainwrights
  4. Wait 30 seconds while we match your tracks to summits
  5. Download your map

What Gets Matched

We look at your GPS tracks and match them to known summit locations. You need to have been within ~350 meters of the top, which catches most sensible summit routes.

Doesn’t work perfectly for: - Activities with bad GPS (tree cover, watch died, etc.) - Summits you visited before you started tracking - That time your watch thought you teleported to Norway

Privacy

We read your activities. We don’t post anything to Strava or share your data. Your map is yours.

Cost

Free to generate and preview. Order physical prints (A1 Munro Maps £75, A2 Wainwright Maps £65) - digital high-res download included with every order.
